The Quick Hone allows you to hone your knives quickly and without all the guess work. This jointer and planer knife sharpening tool allows you to keep your knives longer and will produce much cleaner, smoother results on your wood projects. The unique design of the Quik Hone keeps your jointer or planer knives at a perfect 90 degree angle to each other with the beveled edge of the knives facing downward. This angle makes it ideal for honing the beveled edges of your knives to perfection each and every time you use it. Once the knives are secured into the Quik Hone, simply slide the hone length wise across a hard flat abrasive (like sandpaper on a granite block or possibly a glass plate) until you achieve the desired sharp edge you want. The Quik Hones are made from a solid piece of black anodized extruded aluminum and hold your knives in with a series of set screws. The Quik Hone feels solid and hefty in your hand. This makes the honing process more comfortable. The installation process is simple and takes the guess work away by only allowing the knives to be placed in the Quick Hone one way.
