With an ergonomic, horizontal D-shaped handle and weighing only 38 lbs, the 14” chop saw allows for safer operation and more precise cutting. The saw’s large cutting capacity enables easy cutting through up to a 2.5” solid stock, 5.0” pipe and 5.0” x 4.0” shapes, making the chop saw ideal for use by metal fabricators and drywall, piping and maintenance contractors whose jobs entail cutting metal and bundled drywall studs to length as well as making beveled cuts. For added versatility, the CS23-255 features two adjustable positions for the rear face of the vice, increasing the maximum vice opening to 9-3/8”.
