About Wesco 210239 Heavy Duty Steel Warehouse Hand

This Wesco 210239 schedule 40 steel hand truck with moldon rubber wheels can be used for transporting heavy loads up to 1,000 lb. The frame has a noseplate that measures 16.5 x 10 inches (W x D), and it measures 21 x 24 x 50.5 inches (W x D x H) overall. (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back; H is height, the vertical distance from bottom to top.) It has a two-handle tapered body for support and control, three horizontal cross straps and two vertical straps for small package support, and two 10" moldon rubber wheels for maneuverability. The cross braces are ribbed and the joints are double welded for strength. This schedule 40 steel hand truck with moldon rubber wheels is suitable for use in industrial and commercial material handling applications. Hand trucks, also known as two-wheeled dollies, are used to transport heavy or bulky items, especially in commercial product distribution and delivery. Hand trucks are L-shaped, with handles at the top, two wheels at the bottom, and a small platform that touches the ground when the truck is upright. A load is placed on the platform and the truck is tilted back, balancing the weight over the wheels. Powered hand trucks have a platform that lifts the load up, or lowers it down, to reduce human labor. Some hand trucks may be convertible to platform trucks for moving large or cumbersome loads. Others fold flat for storage. Wesco manufactures material handling equipment under the Wesco and Lexco brands. The company, founded in 1948, is headquartered in North Wales, PA.
