Each sheet is perforated, so you can always remove it cleanly and start notes on the next page. These legal pads are wide ruled, also known as legal ruled (11/32" spacing between lines) so you can write a little larger. Each legal pad is 8.5 x 11.75 inches overall, and each sheet tears out to letter size (8.5 x 11 inches). The front of the page and the back of the page are the same.
