Crystal Red Shrimp are some of the most popular freshwater shrimp due to their wonderful red color and overall ease of care within the Caridina family. Crystal Red shrimp like to live in tanks with live aquatic plants (java moss, bucephalandra, anubias, stem plants, mosses). This is because freshwater shrimp love to graze on the plants for algae, and the plants help keep the water clean for them.
