The 1/2 HP motor and 3/8-inch capacity chuck mortises hard and soft woods. It has four chisels and bits (1/4-inch x 1/4-inch; 5/16-inch x 5/16-inch; 3/8-inch x 3/8-inch; 1/2-inch x 1/2-inch). A cast iron base, adjustable fence and head ease adjustments between projects. 9 3/8-inches under head to base with a 5-inch stroke accepts multiple sizes assemblies and stock. The head can be turned 180 degrees and re-mounted for off-table mortising; the height attachment adds 1-3/4-inch under the head delivering excellent versatility in the shop.
