Wild Hearted Diamond by Frida & The Coolants is a debut and a comeback album at the same time. Actually a double comeback, to be correct. Lead singer Frida Snell had a huge hit back in 2001 with the single Lucky Day. The 'Black Trillium' got great reviews in 2002, but then she disappeared from the music scene. She had enough of the music business and returned to her hometown way up north in Sweden. The second 'comeback' is perhaps not as dramatic. But a lot of people do wonder what happened to Willy Clay Band. Well, Björn Pettersson and Reine Tuoremaa from Willy Clay are both members of the Coolants. Björn as producer, songwriter and musician and Reine as singer, songwriter and musician. Wild Hearted Diamond is a joyful celebration of classic, timeless yet contemporary pop, soul and rockabilly.
