About Soft Tread Casters For Hard Surface Floors By North
The Soft Tread Casters offered by Nu-Source are perfect for hard surface floors, such as hardwood, laminate, ceramic, marble, stone and cement. Because they have a soft polyurethane tread, they help to protect your floors from marks and scratches while minimizing noise. You don’t even need a chair mat! These Soft Tread Casters feature a twin wheel design with a grip ring stem for easy installation. Simply remove the old caster and push the Soft Tread Caster stem into the mounting hole in the base. While their most common use is in office chairs, these Soft Tread Casters offer easier and smoother mobility than traditional plastic casters and can be used in store fixtures, display units, office equipment, utility carts, and much more! The Soft Tread Casters are black in color and can support a maximum weight of 75lbs (34kg) per caster, for a total of 375lbs (170kg) when all 5 casters are used. The casters have 360 degree rotation and a plastic hood to protect the wheels from any debris that could fall into them, disrupting their motion. Each of the twin wheels has a 2 inch (5cm) diameter. The stainless steel stem is approximately 7/8 inch (22mm) long with a 7/16 inch (11mm) diameter, and features a thick ring around the bottom to keep your chair/furniture from getting too close to the wheel. Each package contains 5 casters. Not suitable for cork floors. For best results, please ensure that the floor is clean and free from any dust and debris, as this can cause damage to both the casters and your floors.
