About Human Anatomy

Product Description   For one-semester courses in human anatomy.   Helps readers visualize human anatomy The #1 best-selling book for the human anatomy course, Human Anatomy, Eighth Edition is widely regarded as the most readable and visually accessible book on the market. The book’s hallmark strengths—detailed art that teaches better, a reader-friendly narrative, and easy-to-use media and assessment tools–are enhanced through assignable anatomy animations and tutorials in MasteringA&P, more prominent in-book media references, and updated Focus Figures. Within the book, photos reinforce real-world applications, and cadaver photos and micrographs appear side-by-side with art, working together to help readers accurately visualize key anatomical structures.   For the Eighth Edition, new, essential digital resources in MasteringA&P are more deeply integrated than ever throughout the text, making it easy for students to find helpful study tools. MasteringA&P’s interactive tools include adaptive Dynamic Study Modules; helpful videos on bone identification, organ dissection, and cat dissections; new Clinical Scenarios; and PAL 3.0.   Also available as a Pearson eText or packaged with Mastering A&P   Pearson eText is a simple-to-use, mobile-optimized, personalized reading experience that can be adopted on its own as the main course material. It lets students highlight, take notes, and review key vocabulary all in one place, even when offline. Seamlessly integrated videos and other rich media engage students and give them access to the help they need, when they need it. Educators can easily share their own notes with students so they see the connection between their eText and what they learn in class – motivating them to keep reading, and keep learning.   Mastering combines trusted author content with digital tools and a flexible platform to personalize the learning experience and improve results for each student. Built for, and directly tied to the text, Mastering A&P enables an extension of learning, allowing students a platform to practice, learn, and apply outside of the classroom.   Note: You are purchasing a standalone book; Pearson eText and Mastering A&P do not come packaged with this content. Students, ask your instructor for the correct package ISBN and Course ID.
