This natural lava rock is mined here in the U.S.A. These fire pit rocks are the closest imitation to a natural coal bed in a campfire. Add an outdoor log set on top of the lava rock for even more realism. You can find our log set at this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KU8A858 Great for dispersing the flame pattern when placed over all gas fire pit burners. This a large 1 cubic foot bag which will vary in weight from 35-40 pounds. Use by itself or place gas fire pit logs on top. Covers the gas fire pit burner with 1/2"" to 1 ½" of fire pit lava rocks. Can be used for natural gas or (LP) liquid propane gas fire pits. Only cover burner with ½" when using liquid propane. Since this is a naturally mined product the color will vary slightly from grey to black. Our lava rock can also be used as decorative landscape stone. Buy from us, your gas fire pit experts.
