About Red Oak 4691 6-1/4 Inch Plain Contemporary Style
This part 4691 is a plain square box newel post that measures 6-1/4" wide. Made out of Solid Red Oak, meaning the outer wood constructing the newel post does not contain filler wood or veneer. This is not solid all the way through. This is a hollow core product, as is the industry standard specs. For installation it comes with an inner mounting block, but not the S-9403 sure-tite mounting kit.
