This 4 Liter safety waste system is for the temporary storage of solvent chemical and biological wastes. The system consists of a chemical and break-resistant high-density polyethylene container removable funnel with lid closure/funnel adapter and screen insert. Large diameter funnel includes cover with Easy-Snap safety latch to minimize accidental spills and volatile emissions. Funnel easily unscrews from polypropylene closure/funnel adapter for cleaning and quicker access. Closure/adapter includes vent with polypropylene/PTFE vent plug that releases pressure during pouring and reduces emissions during use; closure/adapter can also be connected to an external syringe filter. Removable polypropylene screen insert/filter fits at bottom of funnel to trap large particles. Material: polypropylene safety waste funnel HDPE waste container polypropylene closure and funnel adapter polypropylene/PTFE vent plug. Stem length: 56mm. Capacity: 4 Liters. Sold individually.
