It includes all the capacitors used for all three versions of the Sega GameGear, which will allow for a total replacement of every capacitor in the system. Bad capacitors can lead to the following problems: Low or no sound Dim or no screen No power While these problems can be caused by other problems with the system itself, the Sega GameGear system is notorious for having faulty capacitors. However it is important to point out that you shouldn’t buy this kit hoping it will fix your particular issue, unless you are sure faulty capacitors are the cause of the problem. All capacitors have the same ratings as the original ones in the system. You will need a 4.5mm security bit to open the system. This repair takes considerable soldering skills and knowledge. Please don’t attempt this repair without such skills. Furthermore soldering equipment is needed. The repair takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete and significant patience.
