This lot includes 40 CR2032 coin cell batteries with tabs. They can be used to replace the original CR2025 batteries; however they will last longer. On average about 5yrs longer at no additional cost. They will fit inside the game case just like the CR2025s. Each battery is individually bagged The tabs are the same length as the original CR2032 batteries. Exact type used by Pokémon Blue, Crystal, Red, Gold & Silver plus many other GameBoy games. If you are looking for Pokémon Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Puzzle Challenge, Yellow and/or Trading Card Edition batteries we also sell them. All GameBoy games that use battery back-ups use either CR2025 or CR1616 coin cell batteries. To determine which one your game uses open them up and measure the diameter of the battery. A CR2025 coin cell battery is 20mm wide while a CR1616 coin cell battery is 16mm wide. Opening your games will either require a 3.8mm security bit or a triwing security driver. Installation requires soldering skills and equipment, although step-by-step installation instructions are provided.
