Proper care and maintenance procedures can prevent significant occurrence of damaging rust or corrosion...even correct problems if they do occur. Regular preventative maintenance is essential for the lasting brilliance of your stainless steel. Regularly clean and re-passivate the stainless steel surface. Rinsing with clean water removes chlorides and helps maintain the system. Carefully inspect the surface for any signs of discoloration (tea staining).
