Tags come as four strips of five tags per strip. Packed in bubble mailer for added protection. Each tag measures 25mm or approximately 1 inch in diameter. The tags are also rated for over 100,000 read/write cycles, but can also be locked. Locked tags are limited to their initial write cycle and cannot be overwritten to protect data. These tags are compatible with the TagMo app for Android and can be used to backup or emulate Nintendo Amiibo toys. This is the same technology used in Amiibo. Amiibos? What's the plural for that? The tags are white on top and have an adhesive backing on the other side. You can stick them to most surfaces, but be aware that metal surfaces can block the wireless signal from the tag. For this reason metal surfaces are not recommended. Tags are solid white color and not translucent, the photo shows the tag with a bright light shining through it to show the genuine NXP NTAG215 chip inside. Please note: These tags are NOT compatible with Datel Action Replay PowerSaves. Those devices are locked down to only work with the Powertag.
