Scanmask Spray beneficial nematodes contain the species Steinernema feltiae, a native naturally occurring insect parasitic nematode. The nematodes in Scanmask seek out pest insects, enter their bodies and release a symbiotic bacteria that kills the pest. BioLogic's nematodes have not been modified in any way and are supplied in a moist inert carrier. Treating with Scanmask is easy! Apply with either a hose end sprayer, watering can or BioLogic's Nema-jet sprayer. Scanmask controls a wide variety of insect pests, but is safe for people, pets, and plants. Scanmask is also compatible with other beneficials like earthworms, ladybugs, and praying mantids. Scanmask controls over 230 pests including: armyworms, black vine weevils, root maggots, cutworms, fire ants, fleas, fungus gnats, Japanese beetle larvae, tree borers, sod webworms, white grubs, and wireworms. This product ships direct from the producer, BioLogic. All orders include free expedited shipping and nematodes are packed in an insulated box with ice. Shipments go out Monday-Wednesday to avoid sitting in transit over the weekend and to ensure healthy nematodes. Refrigerate nematodes upon arrival and until use. Only the garden pack comes with the Nema-Jet Sprayer. The Garden Pack may ship in two separate boxes and there may be a one or two day delay between when you receive the nematodes and when you receive the sprayer.
