About First Voice TS145SM-1 AED Basic Wall Standard

The First Voice TS145SM-1 is a surface-mounted wall cabinet with an alarm for holding and storing an automated external defibrillator (AED). This cabinet has a steel body for strength, and an alarm to notify individuals who are within hearing range of a potential emergency if the door is opened. The alarm on this cabinet operates either on a 9V battery (included) or it can be hard-wired to a building security system (instructions included). When connected to a battery, the alarm emits a sound that ranges from 85 to 120 decibels (dBA) when the door is opened, and chirps when the battery is low. When connected to a security system, the alarm emits a sound at 120 dBA when the door is opened. The alarm can be configured to shut off automatically either 30 seconds or three minutes after the door is opened, or it can be configured to be shut off manually either with a key or when the door is closed. This cabinet has a white enamel finish that resists corrosion, and a clear acrylic window and red lettering to facilitate visual identification of the AED. Four holes are punched in the back of this cabinet for a wall-mount. Mounting instructions are included, and fasteners and tools are sold separately. Assembly is required for the handle and door latch on this cabinet. Assembly instructions are included, assembly tools are sold separately. This cabinet measures 13 x 13-1/2 x 5-1/4 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)First Aid refers to the initial care that is provided to a sick or injured person until a minor medical complaint, such as a small cut, is resolved or until full medical treatment is available.
