The Fowler Electronic Depth Micrometer with a LCD screen displays in inch or metric and is water resistant to Ingress Protection 54 (IP54) standards. It has a measurement range of 0-6" (0 to 150mm), a resolution of 0.00005"/0.001mm with +/– 0.00016"/0.004mm accuracy. This electronic depth micrometer is suitable for precise measurements in a variety of manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering applications. This product has 1-year warranty offered by Fowler High Precision. Depth gages are precision measuring instruments used to determine the depth of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. The base of the gage rests at the top of the shape whose recession is to be measured, while the beam or rods extend to the bottom of the recession to determine the measurement. Gage position is read from a graduated scale, dial, counters, or an electronic display.
