About Legris 7665 06 17 Nylon Air Flow Control Valve, 90

This Parker Legris 7665 series flow control valve is housed in a banjo-style body with a 90-degree angle and is suitable for use in metering outlet air flow in pneumatic applications. A knobbed screw with a locking nut is used to adjust air flow on the outlet side. The nylon banjo body is impact-resistant, the nickel-plated brass threaded fitting is corrosion-resistant, and the nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) O-ring is resistant to oil and chemicals. The banjo body has a female push-to-connect tubing end and the housed nickel-plated fitting has a male British Standard Pipe Taper (BSPT) thread. It has a maximum operating pressure of 145 pounds per square inch (psi) and a working temperature range of 32 to 158 degrees F. The valve complies with the Council of the European Union 2006/42/EC directive and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC standards for safety and complies with Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) regulations. This air flow control valve is suitable for use in pneumatic applications such as in laboratories, food and beverage processing, and paint and printing industries.Flow control valves manage the flow of air, water, or other fluids between pipes, tubes, or hoses. They have two ports and adjustment screws to restrict or direct flow through the valves. The adjustment moves a disc toward or away from the center of the valve to act as a plug to restrict or open the flow path, depending on screw adjustments. Control valves sometimes include either a ball cone (which utilizes a spring-loaded ball seated against a cone-shaped interior surface to block the flow) or a swing check valve (which has a movable disc on a hinge to block reverse flow). Flow control valves are used in various applications, including machine tools, airplane and truck controls, and automated production lines.Parker Hannifin manufactures electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic motion technologies and systems for liquid handling, filtration, sealing and shielding, climate control, process control, and aerospace applications. The company, founded in 1918, is headquartered in Cleveland, OH.
