About Powerblanket Lite PBL1K Propane Tank Heating
The PBL1K is an insulated gas cylinder heater specifically designed to fit a 1000-gallon horizontal gas cylinder tank. The heater is built for use with 120 volts AC, drawing 12 amps thus producing 1440 watts. It has a preset thermostat set for 100 F / 38 C (± 10 F / 5 C). If you have a home, cabin, or business fueled by propane, you know how frustrating and expensive it can be when your propane pressure decreases in cold weather. No one wants the burden of having to constantly fill a tank in order to run your house, cabin, or business. What size gas tank will it fit? Designed to fit on the belly of a horizontal 1000-gallon propane tank. Requires a minimum of 100” spacing between tank legs. Requires 40” arc on the bottom of the tank to be smooth walled and free of protrusions.
