About Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Rescue Tool Jubilee
The Victorinox Rescue Tool is designed for use by rescue professionals to help with extracting individuals trapped in vehicles and other general and medical emergencies. The knife was developed as part of a 5 year project in cooperation with emergency medical and rescue service personnel. The knife was very well received and captured the IWA International Knife Award "Knife of the Year" in 2007. The Rescue Tool broke new ground for Victorinox by including a user replaceable blade. While other models often have user-replaceable Tweezers and Toothpick tools in the scales, the Rescue Tool allows the special Disc-saw and Window-Breaker tools to be removed and replaced by the customer without any special tools. The knife was originally sold with a Nylon red and yellow case.
