I did learn this song in 2nd grade though myself. An American kid's classic! Raunchy and disgusting? Yes, lol. Not everything a child reads should be educational, boring and stuffy. Kids have a raunchy and gross: Weiner, fart and poop type of humor. They should be allowed to have fun and act stupid. That’s part of what being a kid is! Remember that old saying: “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. This applies here. You shouldn’t/can’t always be serious. Have fun and “act the fool” now & then. 100 pages of lyrics !!!
