About Water Tower, TriBecA
"Water Tower, TriBecA" allows the viewer to find a a quite moment in the urban bustle and the beauty in everyday surroundings. The base panel for this piece was salvaged from a hundred year old tenement renovation in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and features the surrounding gritty urban landscape. The original panel is in the same physical form as it was found, with chips and holes unaltered so they can lend some direction to the content of the final piece and show the scars of a long physical life. This piece is slightly irregularly shaped and is made to float over the wall on which it hangs.
