About Mosaic Pin 1cm Knife Making Jewelry Handle Scales

This unique mosaic pin was hand-crafted by an expert. Add that extra bit of flair to your knife handle! This pin can be used for knife making, metal work, jewelry etc. It can be used as a solid pin or sliced into thin pieces for inlays. The pattern exists along the entire pin length. Important Instructions: This pin requires a hole of 1cm to be drilled into the handle of your knife. You simply need to use drill bits intended for drilling metal, which are capable of drilling through the steel type of your blade (i.e. hardened 1095 high carbon steel, D-2, stainless, etc). Do not expose to excessive heat when cutting the pins (it will become damaged over 95 degrees celsius). Do not polish them too much. Use only sandpaper for polishing. Use 1200 grit sandpaper for final polishing. And last, use lacquer or oil. Specifications: Outside Diameter: 1cm (equal to 10mm) (approximately 25/64 inches) Length: 10cm (4 inches) The center of the mosaic pin is filled with epoxy resin. Our mosaic pins have been vacuum-pumped to remove air bubbles. The resin is pulled in with a high-end vacuum, which pulls the glue down, and removes any small bubbles. The pins are cured afterward and lastly polished and burrs removed.
