This is a GENERIC replacement filter for the Racor CCV 8000 system. The CCV (closed crankcase ventilation) filter systems provide excellent oil coalescence and crankcase pressure control under the most severe conditions. The only routine maintenance for these systems is to replace the element. Part# CCV55222-08 is the factory filter replacement, your are buying a GENERIC, equivalent replacement filter. Typical service life of the high-performance filter in diesel applications is 500-750 hours. As with any filter, some variations in service life occur depending on engine age, load profile, engine wear condition, flow and aerosol mass concentration of crankcase emissions, and soot concentration.
