Custom film holder for Super 8 mm and Regular 8 mm movie film (Patent Pending). This model is designed for use with Epson Perfection v550/v600 flatbed film scanners. This holder is designed to sit inside the stock 120 film holder that shipped with your Canon or Epson scanner. Use of an OEM holder may not be necessary with your scanner, but it aids in proper positioning and helps avoid blocking calibrations slots on the scanner bed. Specifications: Outside dimensions: 200 x 55 mm Scanning windows: 190 x 6.7 mm Material: Solid plastic This is a newly designed model that finally allows for full frame 8 mm scanning. With our old model, few customers noticed or cared that they were not able to get 100% edge-to-edge scanning. The new model features two cut out sections as displayed in the photos above. The two sections that are borderless are 38.5 mm wide. If full frame scanning isn't critical to your needs, you can scan the entire frame all at once. For those frames where you want to capture the entire image, you align those images in one of the two borderless areas. If you purchase multiple holders from us, we will adjust shipping charges after sale so that your shipping costs are combined.
