The Hinged shroud helps reduce airborne dust particulates and provides a cleaner, safe work environment when grinding, planning or removing coatings from concrete. The hinged feature of the shroud allows the user to raise one side of the shroud and obtain a grind within an 1/2 in. of the obstruction, wall or other vertical protrusions.
