About When Faith Falters
When Faith Falters is about my unfortunate experience in a pre-authoritarian, spiritually abusive church. The lies, deception and betrayal I encountered left me shipwrecked and on the verge of apostasy. Not only was my family affected, but many others as well. As unique as the specifics of my journey may be, I know that many can identify with being hurt by church. Because Jesus is seated at the right hand of God interceding for us, I believe the words He spoke to Peter apply to us today. Luke 21:31-32 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat: But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers”. I pray that When Faith Falters will serve as a warning for some and bring hope to others.
