About ABN Cylinder Hone Tool With 3 Cylinder Hone Stones
Heat glaze, rust build-up, and carbon deposits can cause lower cylinder pressure and affect engine startup, and finding the right engine tools to get the job done can be difficult. Thankfully, cylinder honing (deglazing and removing deposits) is simple with the ABN Cylinder Honing Tool. Spray lubricant on the stones and cylinder bores, set up the hone on your drill, insert the hone into the cylinder, run your drill between 300 and 700 RPM while repeatedly moving the hone in an up and down pattern once per second. When finished, use a paper towel or cloth to remove debris from the inside of the cylinder. We do not recommend pushing or pulling the stones more than 0.75-inch (1.9cm) out of the cylinder or running the hone for more than 3 minutes. Lubricant and drill required, not included.
