Drywall anchors and brake ties are included for easy setup. WOOD We use high quality North American black cherry in all of our racks. Real cherry has a unique curly grain containing black fleck mineral deposits scattered in its grain structure. Cherry is unique in that it naturally ages to a rich, warm, brown in the months after production. The wood is safe, durable, beautiful, and makes for the highest quality racks available. Once milled, each rack is sanded smooth by hand and given a light waterproof finish to protect the wood from snow-melt and extend its life. We don't use any shoddy plastic, weak hinges, stains, paints, or glues in the making of our racks. RESPONSIBILITY Our racks are made in house here in the USA, ensuring no child or sweat shop labor goes into the making of our product. Producing our own racks also helps decrease shipping emissions, which account for 28% of all transportation emissions in the US. We source our wood domestically through responsible suppliers who prioritize the health and sustainability of our forests. Our product's natural materials help reduce its ecological footprint long after its lifespan.
