About VistaView CableTec - 1/2" X 8" Eye & Eye Stainless
The VistaView CableTec Stainless Steel Eye & Eye Turnbuckles are a high-grade tensioning device for steel cable, rope, shades, tarps and other materials. Make a loop with your cable or rope to attach to the eyes on both sides of this turnbuckle. Turn the turnbuckle body to sufficiently tension your material and use the lock nuts to lock it in place to prevent any slippage over time. This is an open-body style turnbuckle, where the threads are exposed. This turnbuckle has the following dimensions: Turnbuckle Length, From Center of Eye to Center of Eye (closed) = 10-1/2" Turnbuckle Length, From Center of Eye to Center of Eye (open) = 18-1/2" Amount of Take-Up (tensioning ability) = 8" Eye Diameter = 3/4" Thread Diameter = 1/2" Working Load Limit = 1,650 pounds The turnbuckles are available in six different end combinations: Eye & Eye, Hook & Hook, Jaw & Jaw, Jaw & Eye, Jaw & Hook and Hook & Eye.
