The Carlisle Sparta Spectrum utility scrub brush has tough bristles for cleaning in areas, such as food preparation and food service environments, which rely on color coding to prevent cross-contamination. The base resins used for the block and bristles are Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved. The ergonomic handle is white and made of plastic for durability. The bristles are 1.63" long and made of crimped polyester that offers abrasion and chemical resistance, shape recovery, and extended life. They are trimmed at multiple angles to ensure contact with the surface being cleaned. All brush material is free of BPA (Bisphenol A) to address safety concerns raised by the U.S. FDA and other organizations.
