Bamboo Shrimp, also known as Singapore Flower Shrimp, are a truly amazing and fascinatingspecies due to their lively personalities and their ability to quickly change color based on theirmood and/or environment. Their colors tend to range from tan to dark brown, but once theybecome comfortable in their surroundings, they often turn a burgundy red or a beautifulcerulean blue! These narrow shrimp are one of the largest freshwater shrimp, ranging in lengthfrom 1.5 to 3.5 inches. This listing is for juvenile Bamboo Shrimp at about 1 inch in length, sothey’re smaller than the young adult Bamboo Shrimp that come in an order from our LargeBamboo Shrimp listings.These shrimp are known to reproduce only in seawater (saltwater). They are easy to keep in ahome freshwater aquarium, as no special equipment is needed for them to flourish.
