About Moisture Separator/Water Separator For Compressed
Alpha-Pure Moisture Separators efficiently remove bulk liquid contamination from compressed air systems with centrifugal or cyclonic action. Centrifugal force separates the water before it is removed by the automatic drain located below the separator. As the water level rises, the float moves upward and the accumulated water is discharged. This low-maintenance, high-efficiency separator is suitable for variable flow compressors and works will all types of compressor and compressor condensate. Applications include: Bulk liquid removal at any point in a compressed air system Pre-Filtration Protection for refrigerated dryers, membrane dryers and desiccant dryers Liquid removal from compressor intercoolers and aftercoolers Use alone as a bulk removal device or with general purpose, oil removal filters and dryers to achieve highest quality compressed air performance An MDV-400 Internal Float Drain is included with every moisture separator. TDA-25 Timer Drain adaptors are available to convert drains to electric automatic drains.
