This is an outdoor rough surface broom head with 4-1/8” stiff, solvent-resistant synthetic bristles ideal for sweeping heavy debris such as gravel, wet grass, mulch and heavy dirt. The bristles are set into a USA Maple hardwood block with the trademarked red painted ends. The Polypropylene fibers feature crimp frequencies that enhances the synthetic fibers’ water-carrying ability. It’s resistant to petroleum, solvents, acids, and detergents and is not affected by fungus or mildews. This heavy duty broom head is great for outdoor use under wet or dry conditions such as street departments, landscaping, roofing job sites and heavy farm use. This broom head can be used with Harpers broom handle with steel connector (part #85H) and steel brace (part #87-1), both sold separately.
