Hardback in acceptable condition. Two volumes in one. Published by Garden City Publishing circa 1932. Binding is reasonably tight for its age. There is one loose page, the author's photo, third page in. The back cover has a tear on inside between the last page and the inside cover and cloth binding is visible where some of the paper that spanned the cover and last page is missing - a strip about 3/8" wide and 7" inches long. It needs some TLC so that the back cover does not become detached. The page edges are tanned. The page faces are tanned and it is darker near the perimeter of the pages. Pages are clean and clear. No writing, no highlighting and no marking. None of the pages, or page corners, are bent or torn. This is not an ex-library book nor is it a remainder.
