It's USB powered, so it has infinite applications in both indoors or outdoors(not waterproof) as long as you have the eligible USB power adapter/portable power bank(5V/1A). For rooms, dorm rooms, bedrooms decoration, under the cabinet, near the bed headboards, in the kitchen, on the porch, decorating the staircases, PC towercase, and etc. What you should know before your purchase and common troubleshooting methods: 1: It's not pure white vanity lights, it's RGB multicolor lights, if you need these we suggest you enter our storefront for for the vanity lights. 2: it's not gradient chasing effect lights, it's RGB multicolor lights, if you need these we suggest you enter our storefront for for the dreamcolor pixel lights. 3: Do not stick these lights to uneven painted ceilings without additional screws(You can find on Amazon), that may not stick firmly, it sticks firmly on plastic, woods, metals and other smooth surface without dust. 4: These lights does not come with LED strip connectors after you cutting it, you need to buy additional connectors at our storefront to re-link. 5: These lights have music features, but you need to achieve the function with the phone app and the mic on your phone(Microphone Mode), if you need the exact music lights with built-in mic we suggest you enter our storefront for for the built-in mic music lights; When altering to Music Mode on the app, you need to download unencrypted audio files on your phone so the app can read the music files (NOT compatible w/ Spotify or Appl music content which is encrypted 6: Only works normally when your USB power supply is above 5V/1A, or the Bluetooth or lights may fail to work, in rare cases like this you need to find a USB adapter when your TV is ineligible 7: For more rare issues, CONTACT our support team via E-mail to get them resolved in 24 hours.
