At the HSR Classic 24-hour race at Daytona Beach the 2-man Austro-Italian driver team drove the Red Bull branded BMW M1 Procar to 3rd place. They even finished first in the GT table. With the temperature at 28°C and a minimum speed of 280-km/h it wasn't a simple job. However, BMW was able to demonstrate the power packed under the hood and is now ready to do the same on Carrera racetracks everywhere. The 1:32 scale digital slot car is powered by an E200 motor. Each car is fitted with replaceable double contact brushes for maximum contact with the slot car track while downforce magnets make for quick cornering and great handling.
