About End Fed EFHW-8010-1K 80M-10M Wire Antenna With
This antenna has installation plate with two U-bolts and V-block for installation at towers and poles up to 1.75-inch in diameter. This is an End-Fed Half-Wave (EFHW*) antenna for 80/40/30/20/17/15/12 and 10m bands. Unlike many END FED antennas on the market, this one does not require the Antenna Tuner to operate. It is a resonant Half wave on 80m (3.5MHz) therefore also resonant on second, third and fourth harmonics etc. Due to the high impedance feed point, the antenna is less height dependent. You can put it up at 10 or 50 feet in the air without much change in VSWR values.
