All UV protection comes from the weave of the fabric, so the shirt is free from any sunscreen chemicals. Besides UV protection, it also prevents rashes while kids play outdoors. With loose-fitting cover-ups, rashes develop quickly when extra material rubs against skin repeatedly. Our rash guard offers protection from windburn and keeps sand out while building sand castles and treasure hunting on the beach.
