Contains all of the bits needed to make custom Shaker cabinetry for a kitchen or fine Shaker furniture. The Shaker philosophy was to remove unnecessary ornament and to find "beauty in utility". Shaker furniture reflected an ethic of modesty, equality, order and harmony. Use with wood stock up to 3/4-Inch thickness. Set includes: 1) Shaker Raised Panel with Under cutter Bit: Put a simple but timeless edge on the free floating raised panel in your door. 2-1/20-Inch large diam. 1-1/4-Inch depth of cut. 2) Matched Rail and Stile 2 Piece Set creates precisely mated rail and stiles that form a very durable frame. 1-5/8-Inch large diam. 3) Glue Joint Bit is invaluable when the central panel has to be wider than your stock width. Use two or more pieces with reverse cut edge joints to achieve the required width. 1-1/4-Inch maximum height. 1-3/4-Inch large diam. 4) The Drawer Lock Bit creates matching reverse cuts in the drawer front and sides so the pieces fit together, forming a very strong joint. 1-3/4-Inch large diam.
