Ideal for measuring the effects of corrosion or erosion on tanks, pipes or any structure where access is limited to one side. The PosiTector UTGC Corrosion Probe measures wall thickness from .04"-5.00" (1-125 mm) of materials such as steel, plastic and more using ultrasonic technology. Made in the USA, the PosiTector UTG comes with a full 2-year warranty on the gage and probe and features Smart Couple technology which eliminates inadvertent decoupling. The PosiTector UTG comes ready to measure out of the box along with a Long Form Certificate of Calibration traceable to PTB/ NIST. Conforms to national and international standards including ASTM E797.
