The patented Arisaka Inline Scout Mount is specifically designed for compatibility with various weapon lights, including the Arisaka 300, 600, and 18650 Series Lights, as well as other popular lights. It replaces the stock Picatinny rail adapter with a low-profile mount designed for M-LOK handguards and is particularly useful on handguards with 45-degree angle mounting flats. When used on a 45-degree angle mounting flat, the mount allows the user to position the light closer or farther from the top 12 o'clock rail for clearance of front sights or other accessories, with three positions providing an offset of 0.12" to either side of center. The base of the light sits 0.2" above the mounting surface. This mount is CNC machined from 7075-T651 aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized, includes screws for attaching the light body, and requires a T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver for installation (not included). A T9 Torx driver is needed to remove the stock Picatinny mount from compatible lights. Recommended torque is 30 inch lbs for M-LOK screws and 20 inch lbs for light body screws with Loctite 222 or 243. Hardware includes two M-LOK nuts, two 10-24x5/16" Torx button head screws, and two 8-32x3/8" Torx flat head screws.
