Beautiful - Large premium packet of Tall Mixed Globe Amaranth (Gomphrena globosa) seed. This variety produces an abundance of white, pink and purple 1" globes or bracts that add charm to beds, borders, and containers. The bushy plant grows 24-30" tall and is well-known for its heat and drought tolerance and ability to adapt to a variety of growing conditions once established. Minimum of 500 mg per packet (about 215 seeds).

Productive - Tall Mixed Globe Amaranth germinates in 7-14 days when soil temps are 70-80°F. Plant on top of the soil and sprinkle a light layer of dirt on top of the seeds. Space 12-18” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow up to 1-2’ tall with a spread of 8-12”. Seed heads will mature in 80-85 days, plant in USDA zones 2-11.

Pollinator Friendly - Globe Amaranth, or Gomphrena, is an annual that is commonly used in flower beds and landscapes. Pollinators love the fluffy flowers of globe amaranth and will pay these wildflowers many visits throughout the season.
