The Israel Melon is an heirloom variety of melon that produces beautifully colored fruit with vibrant, striped yellow rinds and super sweet green interiors. This is one of those melons that you know is going to be delicious before you even bite into one. It could just be the excitement that comes with spotting that beautiful, exotic-looking melon sitting beneath the leaf canopy, its gorgeous, bright yellow rind signaling that it has reached peak maturity—today is the day! Or it could be that your head descends into a cloud of sweet, sweet perfume when you bend down to pick it. Whatever the case, this melon is not coy. It has it all, and it seemingly knows it. Known in Israel as Ha'ogen, the Israel Melon is beloved for its beautiful appearance, deliciously sweet flavor, and early maturity. The melons, which mature in around 75 days, are near perfectly round and average 3 to 4 pounds each. Inside, they contain a juicy, light green flesh that is dripping with flavor. Our kids simply devour them. All in all, if you are looking for an early maturing, easy-to-grow, beautiful and delicious melon, this one checks all the boxes. The Israel Melon matures approximately 75 days after sowing. Each packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds.
