DESCRIPTIONS

The Book is composed of four researches limited to Forest Tree Inventory, Seed Germination and Initial growth of different and economically important forest Tree Species. Research paper 1 is entitled "ASSESSMENT AND INVENTORY OF CAPAS NATIONAL SHRINE FOREST RESERVATION LOCATED AT CAMP O'DONNELL, CAPAS, TARLAC" Authored by Ms. Olivia Musngi and Mr. AJ Aquino pertaining to Timber Inventory and Assessment of a 35 ha Forest Reservation. Research Paper 2 by Ann Janet Samson and AJ Aquino comparing the germination capacity of two Narra (Pterocarpus Indicus) variety which are the Smooth Narra and Prickly Narra. Research Paper 3 also compares the Germination capacity of Mangkono (Xanthostemon verdugonianus) applied with different seed pre-treatments titled “GERMINATION PERFORMANCE OF MANGKONO (Xanthostemon verdugonianus)” Authored by Ms Carla Pabalan and Mr AJ Aquino. And Lastly, Research paper 4 studied Germination and initial growth performance of Falcata (Paraserianthes falcataria) using different seed pre-treatment and soil media. All papers are Student thesis conducted and submitted to the faculty of the Department of Forestry and Agroforestry of the Pampanga State Agricultural University.
