IDEAL APPLICATION AprilAire Dehumidifier Hanging Kits are designed to suspend your AprilAire dehumidifier from beams or floor joists in crawl space, basement, or attic settings. Ideal application for spaces prone to flooding and standing water, and locations where floor space is limited.

ELEVATE FOR PERFORMANCE Hanging your dehumidifier reduces noise and vibration, and also provides additional height for optimal drainage and proper installation of a condensate drain trap or pump if needed.

EASY TO INSTALL Attach brackets to the dehumidifier, screw eye bolts into floor joists, and clip the carabiners to the ratchet to the eye bolts and to the brackets. Hanging Kit supports up to 200 pounds (90.9 kg).

Elevating your dehumidifier can help improve airflow when the unit is centrally located vertically. Model 5822 is a set of brackets that attach directly to the dehumidifier. It is smaller, lighter, and more cost effective than rigid frame handing kits, and it can support all AprilAire dehumidifiers. Also can support dehumidifiers with either leveling feet or casters. Maximum load weight of 200 pounds (90.9 kg). For residential attic and crawlspace use only. Not intended for overhead use in a living/occupied space.
