The first paperback book in this series, “The Alphabet” includes open dot images of all 26 letters, the capital indicator, the comma, the period, an introduction to numbers, and the 23 alphabetic wordsigns. Adding your own touch to the playful images gives time to enhance long term learning. Alphabetic wordsigns are the first family of contractions, a form of shorthand used in braille. Instructional pages are interspersed throughout, and contractions are repeated on letter pages. Color the dots of every braille letter in the book to help cement them in memory, and find you’ll be able to easily decode secret braille sentences pictured by the end of the book. Blanks are provided to write each letter of the brailled words above the puzzle pages for errorless learning. Inclusive Learning: Tailored for siblings of blind children, sighted classmates, and those with low vision who may need braille in the future, Baguhn's Braille Coloring Books create a parallel learning experience for sighted children, fostering curiosity and appreciation.
