The empty pin of the diode guides to the positive lead, so that the module does not require insulation, direct housing is the battery's positive, which makes the laser DIY much easier.

Input voltage 3-5VDC

The circuit board gets voltage Boost and then get constant current, so the input current is not the real working current of the laser diode.

Output current can be adjusted within 30-300mA!
